I’ve always wanted to fund war across New Eden. But every time I’ve approached mercenaries to do the job, the ISK they ask for is absurd—20 to 40 billion for a target worth maybe 1 billion? That kind of math just doesn’t make sense to me. It’s not worth spending that kind of ISK to shoot most things in EVE.
So I’ve decided to take a different approach: start my own operation.
We’ll pay pilots to be in fleet. Clients will pay based on the actual cost of running those fleets—no outrageous price gouging. For example, a fleet of 50 battlecruisers costs about 2.5 billion ISK, plus fees for the FC and specialty roles (on an hourly basis). Pilots in fleet will earn 50 million ISK per hour—real pay for real participation.
It’s a win for everyone involved.
The groundwork is already in motion. I’ve got the ISK to fund the initial fleets and kick things off. The biggest challenge now is finding pilots. So far, 30 have signed up, with another 50 expressing interest via a poll. Recruiting is tough—EVE players are a skeptical bunch, and everyone’s quick to say “that’s not how things work.” But I’ve never been one to follow the standard playbook.
What’s the end goal of all this? Honestly, I don’t know—and I’m fine with that. What I do know is that ISK will be made, ships will explode, and fights will happen. That’s the heart of EVE—and this is going to be fun.
Part one of this project is all about laying the groundwork—recruiting pilots, building momentum, and getting the name out there. The response so far has been promising: a few major power blocs have already shown interest in hiring us. I have a feeling they’ll be using our fleets to wage proxy wars against their enemies—and I’m all for it.
Fleet Composition: Fly What You Love
Why did I choose to let everyone bring their own ships and fittings instead of mandating a standard doctrine? Simple: because flying only what fits the meta isn’t fun. EVE is about freedom and creativity, and everyone should be able to bring their favorite ship to the fight.
Got an armor-tanked ship in a shield-heavy fleet? Bring it. Want to fly a Drake alongside a squad of Armor Prophecies? Go for it. We’ll run both shield and armor logi, and as long as your weapons can hit the required range, you’re good to go.
Every pilot earns the same ISK per hour, regardless of what they fly—and if your ship explodes, it’ll be directly replaced. No nonsense. No favoritism. Just a good time blowing things up.
